Preparation insights
  • 1. Understand the Weightage: Prioritize high-yield chapters. In Biology, focus heavily on Genetics, Ecology, and Human Physiology. In Chemistry, master Organic name reactions and Chemical Bonding. For Physics, dedicate extra time to Mechanics, Electrostatics, and Optics.
    2. Master the NCERT Textbooks: Treat the NCERT textbooks for Class 11 and 12 as your holy grail. Over 85-90% of biology and chemistry questions in NEET are directly framed from lines, diagrams, or summary tables in NCERT.
    3. Create an Error Log: While solving daily practice problems (DPPs) and question banks, note down every mistake you make in a dedicated notebook. Review this log weekly to ensure you do not repeat the same errors during tests.
    4. Practice Time-Bound Mock Tests: NEET is as much about speed and accuracy as it is about knowledge. Regularly take full-length, 3-hour and 20-minute mock tests offline using OMR sheets to build stamina and perfect your time management.
    5. Revise Formulae & Diagrams Daily: Maintain handy flashcards or short notes for complex Physics formulas, physical chemistry equations, and biological classifications/diagram labeling for quick daily active recall.
